The grounds were littered with trash, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. The room itself was in disarray, with stained bedding and broken fixtures that gave me serious doubts about cleanliness and safety.

Family with children Beware

The room was clean enough! Had a mini fridge and microwave, which was a lifesaver for the kids' snacks. The staff was friendly, but they forgot to give us a door hanger and housekeeping knocked at 8am, which was a bit irritating.

It wasn’t cheap, but still acceptable.

motel 6-salem, va has a convenient location, close to everything you might need. the room had clean sheets, which was a relief. also, there’s a mexican diner next door with really good tacos that was a nice surprise.

the grounds weren't maintained well, with lots of litter around.

The nearby Mexican diner was a highlight with delicious tacos, making for a great meal option. Unfortunately, the room's cleanliness left much to be desired, with noticeable stains. Additionally, it was quite unsettling having housekeeping knock early in the morning, interrupting our stay. Despite these issues, the price was reasonable, making it somewhat acceptable for a quick overnight visit.

We had a rough stay. Our room was in bad shape—lots of stains and bugs. Plus, the staff kept barging in daily, which felt super intrusive. On a positive note, the nearby snack bar had great snacks!
